Do Not Drink … Play!

If you enjoy having a a cocktail from time to time, leave your cash at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your purse, your wallet, and leave all money, credit cards and chequebooks at home. Take whatever money you expect to use on beverages, tips and whatever pocket change you anticipate to throw away and leave the rest behind.

Contemptuous? Not at all. Just realistic. You may well have a profit after a boozy evening out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to catch a 25 minute roll at a on fire craps table. Keep that story because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you always consume alcohol and wager. The pair just do not mix.

Keeping your cash back at the hotel is a little dramatic, but defensive measures for dramatic behavior is a requirement. If you wager to succeed, then do not drink alcohol and bet. If you can afford to burn your assets without a worry, then drink all the gratuitous alcohol your stomach are able to handle, but do not carry plastic credit and chequebooks to toss into the mix of following losses after your drunken self throws away every little thing!

Permit me to carry this a single step more. Don’t consume alcohol and then hop online to wager in your best-liked online casino either. I enjoy a beer from the comfort of my condo, but because I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and wager.

Why? Even though I don’t drink a lot, once I drink alcohol, it’s clearly adequate to befuddle my better judgment. I wager, so I do not consume alcohol when gambling. If you are a drinker, don’t bet when you do. Both make for a ferocious, and costly, drink.
